About the value and devaluation of life experiences

  When people devalue and humiliate each other after a break up, it is perhaps a little less painful for them because it is always easier to part with something that is not very valuable or even harmful. But as part of a life strategy, devaluing is just a waste of individual resource. When we reject people and demean relationship with that person, we actually reject the life experience gained in that relationship. And so life's time is wasted.  How often do you hear: "I wasted so much time on that fool" or "I gave it my all." ⠀ But what is left after the breakups that inevitably happen in life of each of us?  Experience and the ability to apply it.

  1. Editable alt text: Threads lacks user-generated alt text, which makes the app less accessible for users relying on screen reading devices. 2. Emoji: Currently, Threads doesn't support the use of emojis, despite their popularity among users. 3. Hashtags: The app does not yet support hashtags in posts, although they are prevalent on Meta's other platforms like Instagram and Facebook. 4. Trending topics: Threads does not have a dedicated Trending page like Twitter's Explore tab, but Meta plans to introduce features for discovering threads and creators in the future. 5. Pokémon Go creator Niantic accused of ‘systemic sexual bias’ in lawsuit

 A former Niantic employee filed a lawsuit against the AR gaming company on Friday, alleging that it devalued the work of female employees and women of color, denied equal pay to women employees and women of color. The lawsuit, which is seeking class-action status, accuses Niantic of creating a “boys club.” The employee was laid off as part of last week’s job cuts at the company, which affected about 230 staffers. The employee, who is an anonymous Jane Doe but is described in the complaint as an Asian female, started work at Niantic in February 2020 with a salary of $70,000, the complaint says. Later that year, she was promoted and received a raise to about $84,000, but in “approximately” 2021, she learned that Niantic was paying a male colleague more money even though she had a higher job title and more responsibilities than he did. In 2022, he was allegedly paid $127,000 per year, but she was paid $105,000 per year despite being one job level higher. In or around spring 2023, she...
