About the value and devaluation of life experiences

Image
When people devalue and humiliate each other after a break up, it is perhaps a little less painful for them because it is always easier to part with something that is not very valuable or even harmful. But as part of a life strategy, devaluing is just a waste of individual resource. When we reject people and demean relationship with that person, we actually reject the life experience gained in that relationship. And so life's time is wasted.  How often do you hear: "I wasted so much time on that fool" or "I gave it my all." ⠀ But what is left after the breakups that inevitably happen in life of each of us?  Experience and the ability to apply it.

Missing features in Threads:

1. Editable alt text: Threads lacks user-generated alt text, which makes the app less accessible for users relying on screen reading devices.

2. Emoji: Currently, Threads doesn't support the use of emojis, despite their popularity among users.

3. Hashtags: The app does not yet support hashtags in posts, although they are prevalent on Meta's other platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

4. Trending topics: Threads does not have a dedicated Trending page like Twitter's Explore tab, but Meta plans to introduce features for discovering threads and creators in the future.

5. Chronological feed: Similar to Instagram, Threads may eventually provide an option to switch from an algorithmic to a chronological feed.

6. Following page: Threads does not display who you're following or who others are following.

7. Embed codes: Currently, there is no embed code available for Thread posts, only a URL to share.

8. Account deletion: Threads lacks the option to delete your account without deleting your Instagram account, which may be a feature users desire.
